Basically everything you need to know about me is in my interests. Except those probably downplay what a major nerd I am, so... let me clarify:

My DVD collection is nothing but sci-fi, anime, British comedy, and The West Wing, my bookshelf is half physics/astronomy and literature, my corkboard has a flyer for the Captain America Reborn issue #1 coming out on July 2nd, 2009, the posters on my wall are of the USS Enterprise, the Doomsday Clock from Watchmen, and the Tenth Doctor & Donna Noble, and sitting on my desk is a 1.5TB external hard drive which contains, among other things, every episode of Bill Nye The Science Guy, Mythbusters, and Batman: The Animated Series.

My few talents include drawing small cute things and writing graphic smut; my heroes are Jon Stewart and Richard Dawkins.

I'll probably add the stuff I ship and and more detailed lists of TV and stuff I like, but I'm feeling super lazy so I'll do it later.

I think my first priority should be to identify my unorthodox tags. There are definitely going to be tons more, but for now, I'll just do the ones I have...

ichigo tsumi still boring - Strawberry Panic! despite its exclamation point, takes some time to get interesting or engrossing.

kanji ga oh fuck yomimasen - I fail so hard at kanji it is not even funny, oh lord.
karaoke fodder - Music, particularly japanese music.
kimi ni mune kyon! - Suzumiya Haruhi tag, though it IS a pun on Maria Holic.
miurap miurap miurap - Ichigo Mashimaro! Because the Miurap (Osanpo Kyousoukyoku) is AWESOME.
oh noes her nanomachines - Mai HiME and Otome. Because lulz, her nanomachines.
penguin death machine - Yes, I play Pokémon. And despite my love for 1st and 2nd gen, I really adore Piplup's ability to own EVERYTHING.
sae said it while sober - Hidamari Sketch tag! From the 4koma where Miyako and Sae both proposed to Hiro and only Miyako was drunk.
ship tease: the series - Maria-sama ga Miteru tag, because shoujo-ai fans can talk it up all they want, it's all just friendship. Boo and verily hiss.
team ryoko for life - Tenchi Muyou! tag. Because I've been for Ryoko since a very young age. I think Aeka's dub voice helped me decide, though.
the early bird gets the doujinshi - Convention tag! Otakon mostly.
woobie abnormal psych otp - Criminal Minds, my favorite show, ever, period. Also, because Reid is such a Woobie and he and Hotch are my OTP.
yes i like reading my movies - I like subs. May also be used when discussing a subpar dub.
you gonna get befriended! - Nanoha! For the luls.
